Main Dish
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a bowl, mash lentils until partially broken down (some texture should remain).
Add breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.
Form into 16 meatballs.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown meatballs on all sides, about 8-10 minutes total.
Transfer to a baking dish and pour marinara sauce over them.
Bake for 15 minutes until heated through.
Serve over pasta or with crusty bread.
