Charleston Area Churches Food Pantry
Supporting food security in our community
Charleston Area Churches Food Pantry provides three days worth of emergency food to residents of Coles County. This community-focused organization is dedicated to removing barriers to food access and supporting families in need through volunteer and donor support.
Services & Support:
- • Emergency food assistance for Coles County residents
- • Three days worth of food per visit
- • Accessible to guests once every 30 days
- • Volunteer and donor supported operations
Location & Access:
Located at 990 W State Street in Charleston, the food pantry shares its building with Habitat for Humanity and Coalition for People in Need.
Note: Guests are asked to bring a photo ID each time they visit.

Coles County Veterans Support Coalition
A local 501(c)(3) that has been serving veterans since 2017. Fully donation-funded, charging no fees for their services, with board members serving without compensation.
