Serving Our Community at The Haven

Feeding neighbors, building community, and putting faith into action through shared meals and compassion.

A Dinner Served with Love

Charleston Discount Grocery volunteers cooking at The Haven

Another dinner served up at The Haven! Spaghetti with a hearty homemade sauce, garlic bread, and gooey brownies to finish it up. We're really enjoying being able to do these dinners for the community.

Stewardship is about caring for our neighbors. The Haven Mattoon cooks and serves meals every single day, feeding approximately 35 people per meal. They are always seeking help from the community—churches, businesses, families, and organizations—to provide meals whenever possible throughout the year.

Help Feed Our Neighbors

The Haven needs your help! If your church, business, family, or organization can provide a meal for their guests, it would mean so much to the community. Meals can be prepared on-site or brought in and finished there.

To volunteer or provide a meal, please reach out through our Facebook page or contact us directly. Let us know the date, your group name, and whether you'd like to provide lunch or dinner.
